MET060600 Marines drill
Tribune-Star/Jim Avelis Drill weekend: I got to fly to Ft. Campbell Ky. with the Marine Reserve unit years ago. Here Sgt. Brian Skinner walks between two columns of troops at the end of the second drill of the day. The Marines took the part of either attacker or defender in the morning or afternoon attacks. One of the main purposes of the weekend was to practice coordinating on the battalion level, meshing the action of four companies of men.
