Working together: Indiana State students Kristin Gaither of Indianapolis and Russell Dedeaux of Fort Wayne work with Franklin Elementary kindergartner, Samara Hurtt, as she creates a firefly cookie based on the Eric Carle book, The Lonely Firefly, Tuesday at the elementary school. Granting children more fun: The West Vigo Community Center will use its grant from the Terre Haute Rotary Club to buy materials so a vocational class at West Vigo High School can build more climbing equipment like the one here in the center's Learning Center. Feeding the hungry little ones: Jim Edwards, program director of Ryves Youth Center at Etling Hall,  will use the grant from the Terre Haute Rotary Club to maintain a backpack program that will send food home with children who won't be able to use the hall's kitchen on the weekends when it is closed.
