Labor of love: Volunteer Lori Davignon carries a basket of named flags to their place on the Indiana Mile Friday evening. Volunteers worked placing the flags until finished, around midnight. Some of the holes for the flagstaffs were made with a hammer and a screwdriver, others were formed with drills and long bits.
