Indiana State senior Doug Buren prepares to place his canoe in the Wabash River before the start of a trip up the river Sunday as part of an effort to raise awareness of the Riverscape and to promote recreation on the river. Buren floated along with Indiana State professors Eric Anderson, Tom Derrick and Jim Speer and Ivy Tech Community College agriculture professor Jim Rosene and fellow ISU student Dorothy Rosene.
