Public notice: A sign at the entrance to land just north and west of Hawthorn Park is partially obscured by the early growth of poison ivy and yucca plants. The proposed site for oil drilling has neighbors in the Shrine Hill, Harrison Woods, Hawthorn Woods, Robin Wood, Phoenix Hills and in the area of the Boy Scout Camp worried. Concerns include whether current ordinances address the issue of location of oil rigs and if there is the potential for an unpleasant smell.
