Count this one "saved": Kali Skinner, a staff member at the Terre Haute Humane Society, pets Howie, a German wire haired Pointer, Tuesday at the society's building on Fruitridge Avenue. Howie was saved by surgery and a blood transfusion from a dog owned by Skinner.
