Getting rid of the bad stuff: Justin Rainer, a program manager with JACO Environmental, displays an example of a refrigerator component that contains PCBs or Polychlorinated Biphenyls which are known to cause cancer Tuesday at the Duke Energy Indiana office. JACO Environmental is partnering with Duke Energy to offer a program to remove old refrigerators and freezers that may contain hazardous and toxic components from consumers' homes.
