Quercus muehlenbergii: Several different trees arrived for planting at Fairbanks Park on Tuesday morning and among them was a chinkapin oak or Quercus muehlenbergii. The tree's scientific name honors Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg (1753–1815), a Lutheran pastor and amateur botanist in Pennsylvania.
