Mixing it up: The algae stained waters of the Wabash River, at right, combine with the sediment stained flow of the Little Wabash River at Huntington. Just upstream of the confluence the waters of the Wabash River are held back in J. Edward Roush Lake by the last barrier on the river. Recent heavy rains washed soil from fileds into the Little Wabash while the Wabash flows, only tinted by algae.
