MET070114 sunset 9
Tribune-Star/Jim Avelis
It’s all about the light. Tuesday evening a lot came together that had people all over the area looking westward. A clearing sky an hour or so before sunset gave promise of a light show put on by nature. Low hanging clouds with a lot of texture and clearing skies came through to make it worth stopping and looking. A few veils of rain dropped down, adding to the variety as well as producing rainbows to the east. The photos came from Hull Cemetery in southern Vigo County on Curry Drive. The Robertson family, Joseph, mom Souse, David, dad Scott and Alex arrived just at sunset to enjoy the show. The view looks out over some of Larry Burnett’s farmland below.
