Combined Operations: Veterans Memorial Museum owner Brian Mundell says that this Combined Operations patch was worn by Terre Haute native Bill Dodson on his U.S. Navy uniform during World War II. According to Mundell, Dodson told him he piloted a ship that transported British troops to the beaches of Normandy on D-Day.
