Offer made: The Hulman Mini Speedway — operated since 1958 by the Terre Haute Quarter Midget Association (THQMA) off 13th Street — could be sold. The THQMA is considering a purchase offer from Hydrite Chemical Co. and a committee is exploring new locations for a racing venue. An additional complication could be potential contamination at the current site located just south of the former Coke & Carbon plant.
