What she saw: Leeky Behrman describes the scene from when she exited one of the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001 during her presentation on Thursday on the Indiana State University campus. Behrman described the chaotic scene with great detail and recounted seeing first responders taking care of a victim that had been hit bt a large piece of metal.
