Spear was hunting quail on IDNR property in western Clay County Thursday afternoon. The IDNR is holding a Conservation Police recruitment event for District 5 (Putnam, Parke, Vermillion, Vigo, Clay, Owen, Greene and Sullivan counties at the Clay County justice center today.
