Simple tool and a life saver: Doug Hanna, a member of the Sugar Creek Fire Department rescue team, used these simple ice picks to demonstrate how they could be used to help pull oneself out of the water if you fell through the ice on Tuesday at Lazy L Lake in West Terre Haute. The handles contain a retractable pick and are easliy worn around the neck during ice fishing or ice skating.
