MET 012315 RIO GRANDE BIRDS 3
Tribune-Star/Alexis Rusch
Flying free: Studnets at Rio Grande Elementary School Friday looked on in awe as a Red Tailed Hawk is flown over them as part of "Birds of Prey" program. The program is sponsored by the Duke Energy Foundation and visited eight Indiana elementary schools this week. The programs spotlight a variety of live raptors, including bald eagles, golden eagles, hawks and owls. The public can see this program on its final stop Saturday at the Turkey Run Inn at Turkey Run State Park.
