Tribune-Star/Jim Avelis History: Don Nattkemper, great grand nephew of Indiana Game Warden William Nattkemper, reads from the Terre Haute Star from April 28, 1926. Game Warden Nattkemper drowned in the Wabash River April 27, 1926. He finally received a tombstone in Terre Haute's Highland Lawn cemetery through the efforts of his fellow Conservation officers.
