Surprise snow: A wintery mix was in the forecast for Saturday morning but the Wabash Valley was caught off guard by how much snow blanketed everything in sight. Not everyone was prepared for an early dose of winter weather but some enjoyed it more than others. Drivers had to take caution because of how wet the roads had become. By the afternoon the snow turned to rain and the road conditions improved.
