Tribune-Star/Jim Avelis Pioneer: Virginia Jenckes was a U.S. Representative from Indiana. She was the first woman to serve in the U.S. House from the state of Indiana. This portrait of her is part of one of Bill Wolfe's murals that hangs in the Vigo County courthouse.
