MET 031216 GINTHER CANDY
Tribune-Star/Austen Leake
Going green: The Saint Patrick's Day Parade made its way through Terre Haute on Saturday. The parade started off with Father Rick Ginther tossing candy to those who lined up near the start of the parade on Ohio Boulevard near Baesler's Market. The floats made by classes at St. Patrick School came in a wide variety of themes ranging from "Minions" or "Frozen" to a giant snake float that included a Saint Patrick look-alike. The candy tossing continued to 19th Street where the parade took a right turn and ended at Saint Patrick Church.
