Honoring a hero: The family of Sgt. Dale Griffin was joined by members of the Patriot Guard and cyclists at Highland Lawn Cemetery on Monday for a special stop on the Griffin Bike Park ride for the fallen. Riders started at Indiana State University's Memorial Stadium, then attended Highland Lawn Cemetery's Memorial Day Event at 11 a.m.. The riders then received a police escort courtesy of the Terre Haute Police Department to attend another flag raising ceremony at Fowler Park. The riders finished their trip at Griffin Bike Park for food and refreshments.
