Riverton-Parke eighth-grader Jeremy Cox tries to keep his balance after he was able to capture a specimen at the pond ecology station on Wednesday at the Duke Energy Cayuga power plant. About 350 eighth-grade students from Wabash Valley schools were given the opportunity to learn about river and pond ecology as well as wildlife, insects and vegetation as part of the annual Cayuga Wetlands Days at the Duke Energy Cayuga power plant Wednesday and today.
