Every point matters: University of Northern Iowa junior Cole Phillips injured himself at the start of the 110 meter hurdles but still finished by kicking down each hurdle with his good leg and walking across the finish line, earning his team one point. The UNI Panthers ended up edging out Illinois State in the men's team competition by a score of 170 to 169 during the Missouri Valley Conference Track and Field Championships that were held at Gibson Track and Field Complex on Sunday afternoon.
