Morning meetings mean a lot: Fuqua Elementary School teacher Jessyka West leads her third-graders through an exercise that requires them to come up with a word that starts with each letter of the alphabet on Wednesday morning at the school. West and fellow teacher, Leslie Yocum, have created a program called "Building Good Character through Morning Meetings and STEM" and were awarded the Travis J. Smith Memorial Mini Grant on Wednesday which will further fund their project.
