Ready for Beer Fest 2019: After he checked the final gravity on a sample of Stiffy Green IPA, Terre Haute Brewing Company Director of Brewery Operations David Porter decided to sample the sample on Tuesday at the brewery on south Ninth Street. Porter said he will be taking several of the company's beers to the 5th Annual Wabash Valley Beer Fest & Wine Tasting event at the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 2. Entry fee is $25 and the event is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a designated driver ticket also available for $10. About 10 home brewers will be present with their own beers to sample and the band Stampede will perform.
