Making an impact in her neighborhood: Faye Adamson was challenged by her pastor to make an impact in her immediate community. Adamson responded to the challenge by creating a "blessing tree" that was covered with free scarves, hats and gloves for whoever needed them. Here, she crochets a pair of gloves on Tuesday at her home at 3100 S. 9th Street.
