Indiana State University graduate student Sam Morlan begins the chalk outline of a portrait of George Floyd during the painting of a mural on Sunday that features Floyd and other Black historical figures including Harriet Tubman and Martin Luther King, Jr., at the intersection of Walnut and Seventh Streets. Moving the photo of Floyd closer to Morlan is artist Courtland Blade who designed the mural.
